OCi Sales & Accounting Management (SAM) Manual Download

For manual on-premises installation only.
Client side installation.
By default the system will automatically download OCACUpdater and OCAC zip files and unzip them.
When the system is unable to download (connect directly to the internet), you will need to manually download the file and place them in the folder directly.
the following guide provides you the folder location to place the files.

Please read and follow the steps.

The versions will be indicated below and the article will use generic names.
this is to help ensure that you are using the correct versions.
the version numbers will match the downloaded file
SAM_On_Prime_installer:10.20.10.1
OCACUPDATER: 10.20.10.1
OCAC :10.22.12.13

step 1.
SAM_On_Prime_installer.zip
This is the installation setup file. 
if this was previously done, you can skip this step.
requires existing installation file to be uninstalled first.
unzip and run the setup.exe file.

step 2.
OCACUpdater.zip
this file needs to be unzip into the following location.
there is no need to run anything, ensure the contents are unzipped into the folder.
%localappdata%\OCiSystem\SAM\updater
if 'updater' folder does not exist create the folder.

paste the folder location into windows explorer
if windows prompts choose to overwrite the existing files.


Updater folder will look similar when you unzip OCACUpdater.zip into it.


step 3.
OCAC.zip
this file needs to be unzip into the following location.
there is no need to run anything, ensure the contents are unzipped into the folder.
%localappdata%\OCiSystem\SAM\bin
if 'bin' folder does not exist create the folder.

paste folder location into windows explorer.
if windows prompts choose to overwrite existing files.



Unzip OCAC.zip contents into bin folder.



step 4.
Config.xml
this file will prevent the system from updating automatically.
it is need for users who's network security block internet connection and the system keeps trying to connect (resulting in unable to connect error messages).
this file needs to be placed in the following location
%localappdata%\OCiSystem\SAM\
