Prompted to enter in serial number/password
You may get prompted to enter in serial number or password when you change to a new PC or after some windows updates.
some windows updates change the system's product information or clear the location the registration is stored.
the window will look similar to the screenshot below.
the serial number/password is on the email that was sent to the sysadmin(RSE).
you will need to get the information from the RSE.
Due to security purposes support can only send the email to the RSE.
Note the serial number/password is different from the system login that is used to access the system.
