How to Change Quotation Printout Format?


Changing the printout format for a quotation in OCi SAM allows you to customize how the quotation document appears when printed or exported.
This is important for presenting a professional image to customers, ensuring all necessary information is clearly displayed,
and aligning the document's layout with your company's branding or specific customer requirements.
By adjusting elements like paper size, inclusion of a letterhead or item images, or selecting different layout styles,
you can tailor the quotation to best suit each situation and enhance communication with potential clients.

STEPS:
  1. Click on LAYOUT 
  2. Document Properties Dialogue box will appear in the middle of the module.
  3. Un-Tick all the DEFAULT boxes 
    1. Un-Tick the Default box to release the pre-set layout format you have set in Default Settings.
  4. PAPER
    1. Choose the printout paper size
  5. PRINT WITH LETTERHEAD
    1. Un-Tick if you would like print on pre-printed letterhead.
  6. PRINT ITEM IMAGE 
    1. This will enable the item picture to be displayed the on the printout.
  7. HIDE LOCAL GST AMOUNT  (FOR STANDARD DOCUMENT)
    1. This is to hide the local GST amount display on Foreign Currency Invoices
  8. PRINTER TYPE 
    1. Choose the default printer
  9. LAYOUT 
    1. You can select different layouts example service or trading layouts.
  10. QUERY 
    1. Use Standard.
    2. If you select Hide 0 Unit Price, items without price will not be printed out the document.
  11. PRINTOUT WITHOUT UPDATE 
    1. Will not save these settings but enable you to do a one-time printout.
  12. Click UPDATE to save the settings
    1. Note that this only apply to this particular Quotation.
    2. New Quotation will be still formatted as per Default Settings
